Dolores M Hahlen

Dolores M. Hahlen, age 90, of Alliance, died on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was employed at King's Department Store in Alliance for several years until they closed and continued her employment at Value City Department Store for 13 years at the same location, where she later retired.

She loved her family and friends and just about everyone she met. If you knew her, you loved her. She was full of love and kindness. She enjoyed being with her family, and always cooking and baking for everyone. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, and also adored feeding the birds and watching the hummingbirds. Her favorite bird to watch was the cardinal. She was also a member of the William Penn Club. 

She will be greatly missed by all that loved her. She will surely fly high with the angels. 

Dolores is survived by her children, Michael L. Myers, Darlene M. Faulkner (Bill), Craig D. Myers (Partner Latif Chahine), Brian D. Myers (Sue), and Joseph G. Myers all of Alliance. Brother, Ronald L. Haidet (Regina) of alliance. 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Hahlen, parents, Louis and Hazel (Toy) Haidet, brother, Carl M. Haidet, sons, Mitchell L. Myers, Patrick W. Myers, John M. Myers, and grandchild Michelle C. Myers.

The family would like to thank Aultman Hospice for their wonderful care and support. In lieu, of flowers, donations can be made to Aultman Hospice in memory of Dolores. 

A small private memorial service will be held at a later date per her wishes. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring.
