Dianna Lynn Bandy, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on 3 March 2025 in Canton, Ohio. Born on July 9, 1954, in Alliance, Ohio, Dianna was the daughter of John and Wilda Bandy.
Dianna grew up in a large family and was known for her warm smile and kindhearted nature. Dianna graduated from West Branch High School. Later in life her educational journey led her to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, a feat that she accomplished through hard work and determination. Dianna’s passion for numbers translated into a successful career as a certified public accountant, where she dedicated herself to her profession. She also really enjoyed gardening and later in life, genealogy research.
Throughout her life, Dianna enjoyed her role as a mother. She is remembered by her sons, Jason and Jeremiah Klaas, and her daughter, Jeannette Scranton. She took pride in being a grandmother to nine grandchildren and a great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren.
Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, John and Wilda Bandy, as well as her sister, Deborah Buchs. Dianna will be remembered by her surviving siblings: brothers John and Greg Bandy and sisters Carol Conser and Brenda Magier.
Her life came to a close due to cardiac arrest while recovering from a fractured hip and a subsequent infection.
Though Dianna Lynn Bandy has left this earthly realm, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved. She will be missed. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
