Delbert "Boss" Thomas

Delbert L. Thomas" Boss" age 82, passed away Wednesday April 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 4, 1939 to the late Charles Thomas and Virginia (Blake) Thomas. He is survived by two daughters; Nancy (Tim) Bray, Virginia Thomas, sister; Tammy (Terry) King, brother; Will (Lorene) Thomas, three grandchildren; Mason (Lyndsey) Thomas, Raeyanne Bray, Riley Bray, great-grandchildren; Charliann Thomas, Hudson Thomas, several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife; Grace and by a daughter, Amy M. Thomas. He will be greatly missed by his brokenhearted family. "Boss" enjoyed painting anything that was not tied down from cars to farm scenes. He was a collector of many treasures. He enjoyed relaxing on the front porch shooting the breeze with friend, family and neighbors. He was a dedicated family man as well as neighborhood friend. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and had an extra special fondness for his great- granddaughter as grandpas often do.

Visitation will take place Sunday May 2, 2021 from 2-4pm at Dean's Funeral Home in Sebring.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donation be made to Alliance Hospice. The family would like to thank them for their exceptional care especially their favorite Chris H.
