Debra F. Edwards, 59, of Homeworth, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021. She was born March 21, 1961 in Canton, Oh, she was a 1979 graduate of Marlington High School. Debbie was a school bus driver at West Branch Schools for 26 years. She was also a waitress at the Stagecoach Inn, and most recently at the Brickhouse Bar and Grill.
Preceded in death by her father, James Flack, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her husband and partner of 43 years, Jeff A. Edwards, daughter, Julie (John) Pierce, son Mark (Greta) Edwards, Mother, Sandra (Jerry) Clay, all of Homeworth, sister, June Flack of Louisville, grandchildren, Jathan and Jace Pierce, and Brittany, Brandon, and Katy Edwards. Brothers in law Todd, Larry, and Lynn Edwards, Peggy Davis of VA, and many nieces and nephews.
Aside from bringing joy and kindness to everyone whose life she touched, her passion was her family, friends and her love for rottweilers. Being a florist for nearly 20 years, she never missed an opportunity to brighten someone's day with flowers and a smile. She loved feeding the birds every morning and looked forward to her yearly beach vacation.
She will be deeply missed by family, friends and the children she lovingly delivered safely to and from school.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial donation in Debbie's name be made to R.E.A.L. rottweiler rescue or any animal rescue of your choice.
