Darryan "Duke" L McKnight

Darryan “Duke” Lee McKnight, age 62 of Alliance, Ohio passed away December 25th, 2024, at home. He was born on July 3, 1962, in Alliance Ohio to Jaecyne McKnight Nicholson. He attended Alliance High School. He went on to work several jobs, with one job that he enjoyed the most, that being a security guard. He enjoyed his family, and friends. He also enjoyed reading, fishing and listening to music. One thing that will be remembered is his contagious smile and laugh, and his and his ability to light up a room. He was a man of great wisdom and was always willing to share his knowledge and life’s experiences to help the next generation.

Preceded in death by stepfather Rentz (Pops) Nicholson. Those left to cherish his memory is his loving mother Jaecyne McKnight; wife Janet McKnight; brother, Robert Fountain; Seven stepsisters; children's sons, Darryan and Jarrayn McKnight; daughters, Patrice McKnight and Stacy Green. Six Grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life service for family and friends will be held at Faith City of Alliance Ohio, located at 425 E. Market St, Alliance Oh, 44601 at 1:00pm on Saturday January 11th, 2025. A viewing for the public will be held at 11:00am. The family wishes to thank you all for your exceptional support and love during this time.
