Darcie Dawn Rich

Darcie D. Rich (Marshall) passed away on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends in her final moments.

Darcie was a beacon of positivity and joy, bringing light to all who knew her. She spent 28 years in food management before transitioning to a banking career, where she found the greatest fulfillment in brightening the days of everyone she encountered. However, her greatest passion was always her family. The love she shared for her daughters, parents, siblings, cousins, and friends was boundless, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to experience it.

Darcie is survived by her daughters, Brittanie Rich, Brianna Marshall, and Sarah Rich; her mother, Debra Marshall; her siblings, Melinda Marshall and Joshua Marshall; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and all those whose lives she’s touched. She will be forever remembered and profoundly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Melvin D. Marshall, and her grandparents, Mildred and Melvin F. Marshall and Nancy and Perry Book.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15th, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00pm at Amvets Post 45 in Salem, Ohio. Friends and loved ones are encouraged to attend to remember the life of Darcie and celebrate the exceedingly kind and exceptionally wonderful person she was.
