Daniel Olson

Daniel Olson, a man of hard work and dedication, passed away on April 15, 2024, at Compassionate Care Aultman Woodlawn after a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on March 17, 1964, in Canton.

Throughout his life, Daniel worked as a former factory worker and found joy in various hobbies and interests. He enjoyed attending concerts, listening to music, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. Additionally, he had a passion for working on cars and had a collection of stuffed animals. Sports held a special place in his heart, with his favorite teams being the Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Golden State Warriors.

Daniel will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his Life Partner Amy Mercer; Children Brittany Olson, Thomas Olson, and Ashley Olson; Grandchildren Annalise Finocchio and Leia Maxwell; Sister; Deb Patrick (Olson) and brother David Olson.  Former wife and mother of his children Tracey Olson (Hooper); as well as Amy's Children - Kelsi Mercer, Drew Mercer, Austin Mercer, Kendra Davis (Mercer), and her 14 grandchildren. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; Paul and Betty Olson (Harr).

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday May 4th at Almost Home Event Center in Sebring. The event will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.
