Cindy S. Stephenson, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 14, 2024, in Canton, Ohio. Born on March 21, 1960, in Rye, Colorado, Cindy touched the lives of many with her kindhearted nature and immense spirit.
After a fulfilling career in factory work, where her last role was at Freshmark in Salem, Cindy retired to embrace a life that allowed her to express her creativity through her love for crafts. Her hands, which created beautiful things, were mirrors of her heart—a heart that was as large as it was generous.
Cindy shared 38 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Luther. Together, they built a nurturing home filled with laughter, kindness, and the warmth of family. The love between them was a testament to a partnership that thrived on mutual respect and affection.
She was a mother to four cherished children: Timmy Cannon, Daniel Carlson, Dana Carlson, and Patricia Stephenson. Her love knew no bounds as she nurtured each of them, offering guidance and support throughout their lives. She delighted in their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent together, weaving a tapestry of memories that will forever be held dear.
Cindy's legacy is not only carried on by her children but also by her grandson, Joseph Hillmin, who brought her immeasurable joy. As a grandmother, she embraced this role with enthusiasm, showering her family with love, advice, and laughter.
Cindy S. Stephenson may no longer walk among us, but her spirit remains woven into the fabric of the lives she touched. Her kind heart and unwavering love will be sorely missed, but her memory will live on through her family and friends, echoing in their hearts and resonating in the stories they share. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
