Cheryl Davidson

Chery L. Davidson (nee  Beltz), age 71 passed away peacefully January 13, 2019, after several years of declining health. Chery was born  January 14,1947 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Arthur and Rita (nee Weyer) Beltz, and lived there all her life.

She leaves behind her beloved family; husband of 54 years, Owen S.:  sons Jerry and Jamie (Mary, companion):  one outstanding grandson, Josh ; sister Mary (Stephen ) Krauss : brothers Bill (Karen),  Tom, Jim (Julie),   Joe, and Larry (Patty),   Two brothers, Charles (Sheila)  and Art (Charlene)  preceded   her in death.  She also leaves behind many cousins,  nieces and nephews.

Chery graduated from Marlington High School and worked with her brother Art for over 15 years, handling customer service and accounts receivable for Beltz Gas and Oil.  If you came into the office on Gaskill St.,  it was her smiling face you would see first.

Chery was first and foremost a devoted mother (and second mother to many in the family)  and homemaker whose talents ranged from cooking to gardening to composing, singing, and playing  the guitar beautifully.  She loved nature. One of her greatest joys was watching the birds at the feeder.

For over 25 years she and her family loved camping and boating  in the summers at Westville Lake.  They were often joined by extended family and  friends for many happy times that are still talked about with love and cherished in memory.

A celebration of  Life will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019  from 1 to 3 p.m. at Dean's Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio , with Chery's brother James officiating. Dean's Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.

A special and sincere thanks to the dedicated, compassionate staff at Alliance Community Hospital for their excellent care of Chery.
