Celia Spak, age 102, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on January 1, 2020 at The Community Care Center in Alliance. She was born on March 15, 1917 to the late Samuel and Stella (Shepel) Vinch. She is survived by her two daughters; Evelyn (James) Valentine and Lois (Charles) Darnell. A grand-daughter; Teresa (Mike) Bichsel. Three great- grandchildren; Chesney (Hunter) Daniels, Michael (Amber) Bichsel, and John Bichsel. Five great-great grandchildren; Michael Bichsel Jr., Gabriel Bichsel, Julia Bichsel, Owen Daniels and Ivy Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband ; John Spak, her seven siblings, her beloved grandson; Stephen Andersen, and her ex- son-in-law; John Andersen. Celia was a past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge and member for 55 years. She was also a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Alliance Country Club Woman's Golf League. Funeral services will take place at The First United Presbyterian Church, 265 W Beech St. Alliance, Ohio on Saturday March 14, 2020 at 11am with Rev McCurdy officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior from 10am-11am. Per her request cremation has taken place and friends and family will gather to Celebrate her Life.
