Cathy Lynn Gibson, age 59, passed away after a sudden illness on March 6, 2022, at Community Care Center in Alliance. She was born January 16, 1963, in New Martinsville, West Virginia to the late George Michael Loy and the late Estal “Fannie” (Henthorn) Loy. She is survived by her loving spouse Sam Gibson of 41 years. They were blessed with a beautiful love story over their lifetime together. She is also survived by her daughters; Gina Marie (Matthew) Wolfe, Kimberly Gibson, son; Sam Gibson. sister; Debbie (Gary) Utley, brother; Steve (Patty) Loy, grandchildren; Brandon, Logan, Mason, Kendra, Alyha, Araya, Kylie, Maddie, and Luke, as well as her faithful fur baby companion, Ollie. Cathy enjoyed scratch off lottery tickets, traveling to the beach, traveling across country with Sam, and her favorite Holiday was Christmas. She will be remembered for her loving spirit who never missed a chance to share her love with others. She was a generous and loving spirit who had strong family bonds and relationships. Those who knew her were blessed to be touched by a beautiful soul that will be greatly missed in this Earthly world. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made directly to the family to help with Cathy's final expenses. Visitation will take place Friday at Almost Home Event Center 230 S. 12 th Street Sebring from 11am-12pm. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon with Pastor Dave Storlie officiating.
