Carol Ann Mann, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated career woman, passed away on August 3, 2023. Born on May 21, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of JT and Eydthe (McSwain) Redden. Carol was preceeded in death by her parents and siblings; Harlan, Harry, Gerald, Charlene, and Helen Elaine.
Throughout her life, Carol made a significant impact on those around her. She dedicated 15 years of her career to the Stark County Prosecutors Office, where she displayed unwavering commitment and passion. Her work exemplified excellence and integrity in the pursuit of justice. Colleagues admired Carol's dedication to her job and her ability to handle challenging situations with grace and determination.
Carol's greatest joys in life came from spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife to James D. Mann Jr., with whom she shared countless memories and adventures. Together they embraced life's journeys, whether it was antiqueing or camping trips steeped in nature's beauty. The couple's love for each other transcended time and was an inspiration to all who knew them.
Family was at the core of Carol's being. She cherished every moment spent with her children: Daniel E. Mueller, Jason (Stephanie) Mueller, Steven Mueller, and Samantha Mueller. Her unconditional love knew no bounds as she guided them through life's triumphs and challenges. To her grandchildren Emilee, Lauren, Chase, Logan, Steven Jr., Benny, and Gracie Mueller, Carol was a pillar of strength and an endless source of wisdom and affection. She is also survived by her brothers Terry (Linda) and Steve (Pam) Redden of Smithton, Illinois.
Outside of work and family life, Carol had a few treasured hobbies that brought light into her world. She found solace in going to the ocean - its vastness both humbling and spiritually uplifting. Time spent with family pets Mickey and Oliver also held a special place in her heart; their playful presence provided comfort and joy in her everyday life.
On August 3, 2023, Carol peacefully passed away in the warm embrace of her family at Altercare of Louisville. The love and support surrounding her in her final moments were a testament to the impact she had on those around her. Carol's legacy will be one of strength, compassion, and dedication to both her profession and loved ones.
She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and love. Carol Ann Mann will forever be remembered as a remarkable woman whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
