Betty Jane  Butler

Mother-Daughter-Sister…  Age 72, of Canton, passed away Friday June 1st, at Mercy Medical Center following an extensive battle with cancer. She was born November 12, 1945, in Cole City, WV, to Alive V (White) Butler and the late John C Butler. Preceded in death by her son Stacy E Sams, brothers Johnnie, Jimmy, and William. Survived by her son John A Sams and grand-daughters Stacy and Kacie all of Austin, TX; sisters Josephine Quintella of Minerva, Alice Quintella of Louisville; Rachel (Tom) Keplinger of Akron; Mary Rucker of Canton; brother Bobby (Janet) Butler of East Canton; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. She was loved by many and will be missed beyond measure. Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, June 9th at Minerva Classic 57, 317 E Lincolnway, Minerva, from 2-5pm.
