Arthur Schroeder

Alliance; Arthur F. Schroeder age 94 passed away January 28, 2016 at Canterbury Villa following a long illness. He was born October 19, 1921 in Sebring, Ohio to Arthur Schroeder and Crystal B (McShane) Schroeder. He was a machinist at Morgan Engineering Co., and a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy.A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, a 70 year member of Sebring Masonic Lodge 626, Eastern Star Palmy Chap, and the Alliance Senior Center. He is survived by daughter; Learta Richards of Sebring, Son; Jerry Schroeder of Alliance, and special daughter in law; Elaine Schroeder of Alliance. Grandchildren; Jennifer Barnett, Chris Schroeder, Ryan Johnston, Marlo (Jim) Barber, and Logan Richards. Great Grandchildren; Lindsey Barnett, Marlee Payton, Dylan Barber, and Nevaeh Barber. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Lela Grace (Crane) Schroeder, brother; Bob Schroeder, sisters; Carol Langlies, Eileen Sweely, and Cotsy Townsend. A funeral service will be held Tuesday Feb.2,2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Timothy Muse officiating. Friend may call at the church from 9:30 to10:45 a.am where a Masonic service will be held at 10;45.
