Andy Demyan

Andy D. Demyan, 81, of Atwater, OH, went on to his heavenly home on November 6, 2022, at Akron General Hospital. Andy was born on September 17, 1941 in Surosa, W. VA. and was a life-long resident of Atwater, OH. He was a 1960 graduate of Atwater High School and went on to study Electronics and Electrical Engineering in Dallas, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy W. and Enol R. Demyan; and a brother Paul S. Demyan.
Andy worked as an Electrical Engineer for major cutting-edge companies throughout the area. He was co-owner with his son Dan, of Prism Video, LLC, in Kent, Oh.
Andy skated most of his life, was a national champion dance skater and ball-room dance champion for a number of years in succession. His legacy would certainly include his generosity in teaching others to skate and dance.
Andy is survived by his son, Dan and Dee; grandsons Daniel of Lakewood, and Adam of Atwater; brother David and Celeste Demyan of Hickory Area, South Carolina; Marge Hazen, family friend, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A “Celebration of Life” Open House, will be held at “The Event on Sunnybrook” at Sunny Hills Golf Course in Brimfield, on Saturday, November 19, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
